Safety & Security Task Force
Comal ISD is committed to taking a thorough, transparent, and community-informed look at how we keep our students and staff safe. The Comal ISD Safety & Security Task Force is that commitment in action.
The Safety & Security Task Force will bring together parents, community members who live in our district boundaries, staff, and partners for a structured series of meetings over the coming months. Together, this group will examine current safety and security practices across all Comal ISD campuses, engage with district leadership, law enforcement, and subject matter experts to develop meaningful recommendations.
Those recommendations will be delivered to the Comal ISD Safety and Security Committee - to inform and guide their long-term work. This is not a short-term response, but a lasting investment in the safety of every student and staff member in this district.
We welcome applications from:
- Parents and guardians of Comal ISD students
- Community members who live within our District boundaries
- Comal ISD staff
