Our schools are a dynamic center of learning and creativity nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We educate over 29,900 students, from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, with a focus on strong family values, community involvement, and safe, supportive environments. Our 34 campuses not only prioritize academics, but also promote the arts, athletics, and good citizenship.

One of our defining features is our large size - at 589 square miles, Comal ISD is one of the largest school districts in Texas. We cover the entire Comal County and have pockets in Bexar, Guadalupe, Hays, and Kendall counties. Our district serves as the educational core for 10 diverse communities, including Bulverde, Canyon Lake, Garden Ridge, Fischer, New Braunfels, and San Antonio.
