In addition to serving it's students, the Business Services Department is responsible for planning and preparing the District's Annual Budget and overseeing other financial areas such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing, State and Federal Program Funds and Student Activity Funds.
Like any business, public schools have to manage their money wisely, and the Business Services Department allocates the district’s resources efficiently and effectively, by keeping in mind the district’s greatest assets – its more than 23,800 students.
