PSAT
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It's a standardized test that provides first hand practice for the SAT®. It also gives students a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.
Comal ISD offers the PSAT 8/9 to all 8th and 9th grade students. These assessments allow students to set a baseline. Students will know their strengths and what skills they need to practice to continue to improve. PSAT/NMSQT is offered to all 10th and 11th graders to prepare for the SAT and provides an opportunity to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program.
2024 PSAT 8/9 Test Dates
