Each year the District Educational Improvement Council, comprised of parents, students, teachers, and administrators, develops two academic calendar options. Comal ISD is asking parents, staff, and students to provide feedback regarding their preferred choice for the 2024-25 academic calendar. The differences between the two calendar options are:
 
Option A
  • October 23 & 24 Two-hour early release for Elementary Students only (parent/teacher conferences)
  • December 20, 2024 - Early Release for all students 
 
Option B
  • October 23 - Student Holiday/Elementary Conferences & Secondary Staff PD Day
  • No early release on December 20, 2024
