Apply for Financial Aid

Need help paying for college? See if you are eligible and what loans, grants or scholarships you qualify for by completing the FAFSA or TAFSA. Applications are free.

Remember, beginning this school year, completing financial aid requirements is a state mandate for all seniors in order to graduate.

Financial aid options:

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

TAFSA (Texas Application for Federal Student Aid)

Students classified as Texas residents who are not eligible to apply for federal financial aid are encouraged to complete the TASFA.

A student may opt out of the financial aid application graduation requirement if:  

• A parent or guardian submits a signed form; 
• The student is 18 years of age or older and submits a signed form; or
• A school counselor authorizes the student to decline to complete and submit the application for good cause.
