June 6, 2024 - The Comal Independent School District is hosting a summer job fair 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at its Support Services building, 1404 IH 35 North, New Braunfels. All interested applicants are encouraged to attend.
The fast-growth district is hiring for all positions including bus drivers and transportation professionals, child nutrition, classroom assistants, custodians, facilities maintenance, office staff, teachers, special programs professionals and substitute teachers.
The district, which covers 589 square miles, includes Comal County as well as portions of Bexar, Guadalupe, Hays and Kendall counties. Serving 10 communities with 34 campuses, the district offers great locations from which to work including 20 elementary schools, seven middle schools and seven high schools in Bulverde, Canyon Lake, Garden Ridge, New Braunfels, the northern tip of San Antonio, Sattler, Smithson Valley, Spring Branch and Startzville. A new middle school, Bulverde Middle School, will open in August.
