Comal ISD has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education in the nation for the second year in a row. This year, only 81 school districts in Texas were awarded this designation.
Canyon Lake High School (CLHS) can proudly stake the claim of being the only high school in Texas to have a competitive, co-ed ballroom dance team. Recently, the team did well, winning first place in two categories at the American Dance and Drill Team competition in north Texas.
Percussion students from Canyon High, Canyon Middle and Church Hill Middle Schools, including Canyon’s Steel Band, Latin Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Church Hill Samba Group, will host a unique and free concert that will have you tapping your toes.
Comal ISD students, years away from being eligible to vote, recently created eye-catching posters to encourage their fellow Americans in Comal County to vote in upcoming elections. Posters created by four students were selected as contest winners.
Through May 7, the Comal Education Foundation is seeking one-time financial contributions from members of the community to continue innovative education programs in the district.
While this year's PTA Founders' Day celebration and awards ceremony was a virtual event, it still honored the role that the National Parent Teacher Association plays on every Comal ISD campus.
