Free drive-through testing for COVID-19 will be available this Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Comal ISD’s Bill Brown Elementary School, located at 20410 SH 46.
Appointments are required for the test. Beginning this Thursday, residents must call (512) 883-2400 or visit www.txcovidtest.org to register. Before receiving an appointment, participants will be screened for: fever and/or chills; a dry or productive cough; fatigue; body aches or muscle or joint pain; and other symptoms.
This is the third one-day, drive-through test site in Comal County, second at a Comal ISD school. The school district is working in partnership with the County, the Texas Division of Emergency Management and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
“Once again we are proud to work with our public partners to provide a site for COVID-19 testing,” said Andrew Kim, Comal ISD superintendent. “This testing site partnership is a great example of how our working together benefits the residents of our district and Comal County.”
