Comal ISD has seven middle school campuses serving grades sixth, seventh and eighth. The key focus of the middle school academic program is to prepare students for the high school curriculum by focusing on essential skills in English, math, science and social studies.
Middle school students also choose from elective courses, extracurricular activities, pre-AP courses and high school credit opportunities.

With four traditional high schools, one under construction
, and two early college high schools, Comal ISD offers students traditional academic and extracurricular courses as well as nontraditional ones such as entrepreneurship, construction, culinary, agriculture, ROTC and more. Comal ISD high schools prepare students for their future whether they choose to attend college, start a career or join the military upon graduation.
