Hall of Honor

Each year the Comal Education Foundation will host a Hall of Honor for the Alumni Network to celebrate the legacy and achievements of Comal ISD alumni who have gone on to impact the world in meaningful ways. Through their careers, service, creativity, and leadership, these individuals exemplify the values instilled during their time in Comal ISD schools.

Alumni Hall of Honor award winners will receive a commemorative plaque, their photo hung in the Comal ISD Support Services Hall of Honor, and complimentary tickets to all CEF events the following year as an Alumni Network Hall of Honor Representative.

Education

Inspiring Futures Through Knowledge and Leadership
This category honors Comal ISD alumni who have made a lasting impact in the field of education through their unwavering dedication to student growth, academic innovation, and leadership. Nominees may include teachers, professors, counselors, librarians, district administrators, instructional coaches, policy makers, or education advocates who have improved the quality of teaching and learning.

Their influence may be seen in:

Transformational teaching that changes lives
Policy reform or system-wide improvements in education
Groundbreaking curriculum development or research
Mentorship of future educators
Championing equity, access, or inclusive learning

These honorees reflect the belief that education is not just a profession, but a powerful vehicle for community progress and generational change.

Business

Excellence in Enterprise, Innovation, and Leadership
This category recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves in the world of business through visionary leadership, entrepreneurship, or transformative influence in their industries. Nominees may be CEOs, founders, financial leaders, inventors, consultants, or rising stars who have contributed meaningfully to economic development or responsible corporate citizenship.

Nominees may be honored for:
