What You Need to Know about Comal ISD’s Accountability Rating
Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to districts and schools. TEA assigns campuses and districts a rating of A, B, C, D, or F for overall performance, as well as for performance in Student Achievement, School Progress, and Closing the Gaps.
Comal ISD received an overall score of an 87 for 2025 Accountability. To view district and campus 2025 Accountability Ratings, please visit TEA Accountability Reports.
In addition to the district’s overall rating:
- 19 campuses earned an “A” rating in 2025.
- 25 campuses received a total of 71 distinctions.
- Mountain Valley Elementary and Rebecca Creek Elementary earned all possible distinctions for the second consecutive year (2024 and 2025).
- Hill Country College Prep High School earned all possible distinctions in 2025.
These achievements reflect Comal ISD’s continued commitment to academic excellence and student success.
