Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in applying your career expertise to help Comal ISD students on their career paths? The Comal Education Foundation is seeking business professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and community members who will serve as mentors and coaches.
 
 

Volunteers for the Final Round of Student Mock Interviews

Volunteers are needed for the the final round of Student Mock Interviews. The top 120 students from across Comal ISD have advanced to this round of Mock Interviews. Now, they will showcase their interviewing skills for the chance to be chosen for one of 14 scholarships.

Volunteers will conduct 15-20 minute interviews and provide feedback using a standardized rubric. The score and insights from each interview will determine which 14 students will receive a scholarship based on the employability skills they have developed throughout the year.

Volunteers may choose one of two time slots on Friday, May 1, in the library of Canyon High School, 1510 I-35, New Braunfels.

  • 9 a.m. to noon or
  • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

We are seeking business professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and community members who are serving (or interested in serving) as mentors or coaches in the Comal ISD Incubator Program
 
Whether you're new to the program or returning for another year, this session will provide valuable insight and refreshers to ensure your experience - and your students' - is meaningful and successful.
