You are invited to the 8th Annual Love the Run You’re With 5K benefitting Food4Kids, a 100% volunteer run organization at Steve's Pantry that provides food & hygiene items to an average of 1800 children and families in need per month in the greater New Braunfels area. They also provide access to free laundry facilities, showers, laptops and counseling. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend, spouse, or furry loved one and come dressed as your Favorite Famous Duo!

Food4Kids program also works with Communities in Schools and School Counselors to identify children and their household members who do not have reliable access to food on the weekends. Volunteers pack and deliver bags of food to all five feeder patterns each week through student-involved food pantries located at Canyon HS, Canyon Lake HS, Davenport HS, Pieper HS, and Smithson Valley HS.  

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

6:30am - Arrival and Packet Pick Up (No Race Packets distributed after 7:30am)

7:45am - Costume Contest at DJ Booth

8:00am - 5K Run/Walk

9:00am - Kids Run

 

ENTRY FEES: 

5K Run/Walk: 

$25- 5K Run/Walk Early Registration (Through Jan. 31) (Shirts are guaranteed for those who register by Jan 14, 2026)

$30- Registration (Through Feb. 7)

$35- Race Day Registration

Kids Race: 

$15- Kids w/ Tshirt (12 and Under) 

FREE w/out Tshirt

 

AWARD CATEGORIES:

All awards will be announced at the medal ceremony immediately after the race concludes or can be picked up at Steve's Pantry.

5K Run/Walk:

- Top 3 Overall Male/Female
- Masters Male/Female (40 +)

- Top 3 Male/Female in age groups:

1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-99

 

Kids Race:

No age group awards

 

PACKET PICK-UP:

Thursday 2/5: 12-6pm @ Two Rivers Running (1265 N Academy Ave Ste 1101, New Braunfels, TX 78130)

Friday 2/6: 12-6pm @ Two Rivers Running (1265 N Academy Ave Ste 1101, New Braunfels, TX 78130)

Packet Pickup will also be available the morning of the race in the parking lot across from Gruene Hall (inclement weather-inside Gruene Hall) beginning at 6:30am and will end at 7:30am sharp.
