Collaborative Vision

The Comal ISD Board of Trustees has initiated a Collaborative Vision (CV) to develop the district’s guiding strategy on the goals it intends to accomplish and the key initiatives for achieving those goals. Specifically, the CV will equip the district to:

Clarify its vision, mission, core values, and motto
Speak with one voice
Travel in the same direction
Support students in all areas of their education

A key component of a successful CV is to gather/receive input from a representative cross-section of the Comal ISD community. As such, the district is inviting 65 community members to serve on the CV Design Team who will:

Review all district data pertinent to priority design focus areas
Collaborate across priority design focus areas to ensure an aligned CV
Draft the district’s Objectives, Measures, & Action Steps
Recommend the Collaborative Vision to the Board of Trustees

Comal ISD is opening the opportunity to serve on the CV Design Team to all Comal ISD residents. If you are interested in serving on the CV, please complete the application by clicking on the link below. We ask those who apply to commit to attending all CV meetings on the following dates (a detailed description of each meeting’s agenda may be found here):

March 22
April 5
April 19
May 3
May 17

Meeting times are from 6-8 p.m.

Applications will be accepted through March 3. Individuals selected to serve on the CV Design Team will be notified by March 10.
