2023-2028 Collaborative Vision Strategic Plan
In March 2023, Comal ISD convened a committee of more than 60 community members to develop the District’s Collaborative Vision 5-Year Plan, which outlines the district’s goals and the key initiatives for achieving them. At the June 13 Board Workshop, the administration facilitated an in-depth review and discussion of the Strategic Plan with the assistance of members of the Collaborative Vision Committee.
Together, members of the committee created a Graduate Profile with the following results: A Comal ISD graduate will be accountable, real-world prepared, a communicator, have integrity, have an adaptive mindset, a critical thinker, and financially literate. Furthermore, the committee defined the district's priorities and objective in six main areas including:
- Academic Success/Instruction
- College, Career, Military Readiness (CCMR)
- Student Support/Safety
- Employment Recruitment/Retention
- Parent and Community Engagement
- Facilities/Growth and Planning
