Ways We Give
Since 2001, CEF has awarded more than $950,000 to Comal ISD in the form of teacher grants, district-wide initiatives and other programming. As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, the foundation works to increase private support for the educational initiatives of Comal ISD. These activities are made possible through generous donations from corporate partners, parents, CISD employees, private grants and community organizations.
The Comal Education Foundation continuously evaluates the most impactful ways to meet the needs of the district and individual campuses that go beyond their normal operating budget. Funds we raise are distributed to Comal ISD and used to promote student achievement, motivate students to learn, and provide a platform for all students to reach their maximum potential.
