Eight Canyon High School band students earned the All-Area distinction on Thursday, November 29. This honor was earned through a competitive audition featuring twelve 6A high schools from the greater San Antonio area, and places these students within the top 5% of student musicians in the state of Texas. These students previously earned All-District and All-Region honors, and will now have the opportunity to audition for TMEA All-State in January. They are:
