Thank you for your interest in covering a Comal ISD event and for supporting our students. Please be aware that all media requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests on the day of the event.

Additionally, Media Credentials grant access to the game/event and field only. They do not provide access to the press box or other areas of the school or facility.

Media Credential Pass Guidelines 

Eligibility

Media credentials are granted to:

• Verified members of the media with valid identification.
• Individuals conducting official district business.

Note: Media credentials are not issued to commercial photographers or for purposes other than editorial or media coverage.

Photography Guidelines

• Prohibited Equipment: The use of electronic flash equipment is strictly prohibited at all indoor events.
• Photograph Sales: Credentials will not be issued to any photographer whose images are intended for commercial sale or non-media purposes.

Filming Guidelines

• Filming Restrictions: Full contest recordings are not allowed. Footage must only be used for highlight purposes. Any violation of this policy may result in revocation of credentials.

Credential Request Submission

• Advance Request: All media credential requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled game time. Late submissions may not be accommodated.
• Pass Pick-Up: Approved credentials will be available for collection at the ticket booth located on the home side of the school stadium. A valid organization photo ID is required for credential pick-up.

 Access Provided

• Media Access: Media Credentials grant access to the field and game areas only.
• Restricted Areas: Media passes do not grant access to the press box or any other restricted areas of the school or facility.

 Notification of Approval/Denial

• Each person that submits a Media Credential Request will receive an email with the approval/denial of such request.
