Comal Education Foundation Innovation Grant Application

You are applying for CEF's Innovation Grant. This grant is intended for innovative programs, teaching methods, or processes that enhance the current curriculum.

Innovation - new, creative, original, leading-edge, modern, beyond the norm, advanced, inventive, pioneering, forefront, experimental, groundbreaking.

Maximum award amount: Innovation Grant: Up to $7,500 for Teams | Up to $5,000 for Individuals

Designed to support creative and impactful ideas in the classroom, the Innovation Grant provides funding for projects that enhance student learning and inspire innovation across Comal Independent School District.

Teams of teachers (2 or more teachers) may continue to apply for grants of up to $7,500 to implement collaborative projects that benefit students across classrooms, grade levels, or campuses.

Individual teachers are eligible to apply for grants of up to $5,000 to bring innovative ideas directly to their students and classrooms. Whether funding new instructional resources, unique student experiences, or creative approaches to teaching and learning, Innovation Grants are intended to empower educators to turn ideas into action.

Should I receive a grant it is my responsibility to work with my campus senior associate and/or bookkeeper to arrange ordering materials, supplies and equipment; complete registrations if needed; and arrange substitutes if needed. I understand that should I receive a grant I must use the grant funds within Comal ISD's fiscal year for which the funds were awarded, and submit all documents needed to my Senior Associate/Bookkeeper within Comal ISD's end of year purchasing deadlines. I understand any grant funds left unused will not roll over into the following year, and I must forfeit any unused funds. *
