Dear Summer SACC Families,
We are excited to kick off our Summer SACC 2020. Your patience as we worked through these uncharted waters together is greatly appreciated. While our program will look different than it has in the past, we want to assure you that we will strive to make each day a great one for your child.
Our program dates are June 8 – August 14 and our hours of operation are from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. With the required staff to student ratio of 10:1, we will need to implement a rate increase, to $160.00 per week. In addition to the new time and rate this summer, you will notice that our Parent Drop-off and Pick-Up will look very different due to regulations that we will follow this summer to ensure the safety of our students, families and staff.
In order to meet the guidelines, set out by the governor, we are implementing the following in our Parent Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures:
• Staff will be wearing face coverings during all interactions with students and families
• Gloves will be worn at the Drop-off and Pick-up location
• Our Drop-off and Pick-up table will be located outside of the school
• Hand sanitizer will be located at the Drop-off and Pick-up table and staff and students entering the building must use it before gaining entrance
• A list of screener questions will be asked of all families at Drop-off
• Adult access to the building is limited to SACC Staff and school district employees
• Staggered Drop-off Times will be suggested to ease the congestion at Drop-off
You will pull into the drop off lane and remain in your car until reaching the designated space for exiting (marked with cone at each site with a sign). You will park your car, walk up to the table with your child/children, and answer the screener questions If your child/children’s temperature is under 100 degrees (per regulation) and your child/children has no other listed symptoms, they will be allowed to enter the facility. You will then return to your car, your child/children will be given a squirt of hand sanitizer, and then be walked to their classroom.
You will pull into drop off lane and remain in your car until reaching the designated space for exiting (marked with cone at each site with sign). You will park your car, walk up to the table and staff will call for your child/children on the walkie to pack up. Staff will walk to classroom to get your child/children and bring them to the pick-up area .
These are the most notable changes for our SACC Families outside of the building. Your child’s day inside will mostly consist of time in their classroom, but we are committed to providing some exciting and fun things to keep them engaged all day. We will read, do arts and crafts, conduct science experiments, and continue to engage in learning and memorable experiences throughout the summer.
We truly appreciate you entrusting us with the care of your child. We want to assure you that we will practice safety precautions and provide diligent hand washing and personal hygiene procedures.
Thank you again for your patience and we look forward to seeing you all on June 8th.

In an effort to be as equitable as possible for all of our SACC Families, we occasionally move our Summer Program sites. We consistently have 7 sites open, but move them from time to time to make drive times and locations across different parts of our district convenient for as many families as we can.
We appreciate your desire to be enrolled in the program and want to ensure you that we take all feedback into consideration when making changes. We also thank you for your continued support and use of our program and are looking forward to another great summer for our SACC students.
