SchooLinks - PGP

Course Selection

Your student is using a new tool called SchooLinks to create a Personal Graduation Plan and navigate the journey of college and career planning. Students will submit their course requests for the upcoming academic year online through SchooLinks. 

 

We have a three-step process that helps your student finalize their PGP:

Steps for Course Selection

While counselors have been meeting with students to discuss courses, your input and approval of their course plan is a critical part of this process.

 

Step 1: Create Guardian Account

 

Rather than receiving a paper course selection sheet, as in years past, you now will review and electronically sign your student’s course plan in SchooLinks. But first, you must create a Guardian Account in SchooLinks.

 

To sign up for SchooLinks, ask your student to send you an invitation via email or text. Use the claim code included in the invite to create the account.

Step 2: View Student's 2022-23 Course Plan

 

Once you’re in SchooLinks, you can review your student’s 4-year course plan, including a plan for the current

 school year. Take the opportunity to discuss selections with your student. If there are changes needed, your student can make those changes.

 

While your student’s course plan will include several years, the most important thing for you to review is the 2022-2023 courses they have selected. Please know, there will be several opportunities for your student to revisit and adjust their plan as they navigate their journey in Comal ISD. Step 3: Approve Student's Personal Graduation Plan

 

Through your Guardian Account, you will be asked to electronically sign your student’s Personal Graduation Plan to approve their course selection for the next school year. Each year, you and your student will have the opportunity to review, revise and approve their 4-year course plan.

Guardian’s must indicate approval of courses for the 2022-23 school year by completing all steps before the Deadlines below:

 

Current 8th-11th: Feb. 25, 5:00 P.M.

Current 6th-7th: Mar. 4, 5:00 P.M.
