What is Comal ISD Mentoring?
The Mentoring Program is a school-based program for Comal ISD students. As a student, you are recommended by your campus with parent permission. Mentors are matched with students based on schedule, availability, personality and interests.
What is the commitment?
As a mentor, you will meet with your student one day a week for 30 minutes during school hours at the campus.
You are committed to mentor for the duration of the school year. If you and your mentee are both interested, you may continue to meet in subsequent school years.
How do I become a mentor?
Complete a mentor application and Comal ISD background check and fingerprinting. Then register to attend a mentor training session once application and background check have been approved. The next mentor training date is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20.
