CDC Transportation

Transportation:

A student placed in a DAEP shall not be provided transportation unless he or she is a student with a disability who is entitled to transportation in accordance with the student’s individualized education program (IEP) or Section 504 plan.- CISD Student Code of Conduct-page 97.

  1. Parents are responsible for getting their students to and from the campus.   (see campus traffic flow below)
    • Morning drop-off is from 8:00-8:20.  At 8:26 your student will be considered tardy.  If you are needing an earlier drop off time, please communicate with the campus administration.
    • Afternoon pick-up is from 3:20-4:00.  If you are needing a later pick up time, please communicate with the campus administration.  Students remaining at the end of pick-up time, will be asked to wait outside and will be unsupervised.
    • If a student holds a valid driver’s license and parking permit from their home campus, they will be allowed to drive to CDC.  They must park in a designated area and be on time each day.  Being tardy as a student driver means loss of driving privileges.
  2. If a student is late to CDC, parents must come into the front office and sign them in.  Being tardy multiple times, without notes from doctor, dentist, counseling appt etc. can lead to a student being put into Level 2.
  3. If a student needs to leave early for appointments, parents must come into the front office and sign the student out.  Students should only be leaving the campus for appointments and parents should return the student to campus with a note from the appointment the following day.
