Q: How will the addition of new campuses and realignment of attendance zones affect my child attending a Specialized Setting Campus?

A: On May 9, 2018 the Board of Trustees approved additional Specialized Setting Campuses to Include Goodwin Frazier Elementary, Canyon Middle School, Danville Middle School and Pieper Ranch Middle School to offer a full continuum of special education services to include:
  • Goodwin Frazier Elementary Essential Academics/PPCD/Behavior Settings
  • Canyon Middle School Essential Academics/Behavior Settings
  • Danville Middle School Essential Academics/Behavior Settings
  • Pieper Ranch Middle School Essential Academics/Behavior Settings
 
The addition of setting campuses is intended to provide increased access for students to home campuses, alignment with Middle School Feeder Patterns, as well as providing continuity in access to and equity to same aged/non-disabled peers.

Parent Meetings

Comal ISD would like to invite you to be part of the Parents as Partners Cohort during the
2017-2018 school year.

This group will meet two times and will proivde families of students with eligibility, an opportunity to collaborate, facilitate feedback and learning, and improve services and outcomes for children eligible for special education in Comal ISD.

The meetings will occur from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on the dates and locations listed below. A light snack will be served at
each of the meetings.
