Special Diets & Food Allergies

Comal ISD follows the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) guidelines for accommodating children with special needs.

  • TDA permits the Child Nutrition Department to determine what accommodations are reasonable or non-reasonable and will attempt to accommodate students on a case-by-case basis.
  • Child Nutrition will not make menu modifications based on religious beliefs or food preferences.
  • CISD does not serve any items containing peanuts or tree nuts.
