Grandfathering Application for Canyon High School Open Jan. 27 – Jan. 31
At the August Board Meeting, the Comal ISD Board of Trustees approved attendance boundaries for Davenport High School for the 2020-21 school year. Students zoned to Danville Middle will attend Davenport High School. Below is the attendance boundary map for Davenport High School starting in the 2020-21 school year.
Current 9th and 10th grade students who are impacted by the boundary change and would like to stay at Canyon High School we able to apply to be grandfathered from January 27 – 31. Current 11th grade students DO NOT need to fill out an application as DHS is opening with grades 9th-11th. In addition, current 8th grade students who have an older sibling currently enrolled at Canyon High School in 9th through 11th grade, may also be grandfathered.

No. You must take the grandfathering option now in order to stay at Canyon High School.
