Bilingual & ESL Services

The goal of Comal ISD’s Bilingual & English as a Second Language (ESL) programs is to enable English learners (EL) to become competent in the listening, speaking, reading, and writing of the English language.

The Bilingual & ESL programs are an integral part of the total school program and promote mastery of English language skills to allow EL students to participate fully in school, thus achieving academic goals.  Instructional methods are designed to meet the needs of the EL and curriculum content of the programs is based on Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
