New Braunfels Poetry and Prose Contest

Submissions: Feb 15th thru March 31, 2020. Age categories are: 5-6th grade, 7-8th grade, High School and Adult (over 18).

Vocabulary.com (Grades 4-12)
Students in grades 4-12 can log in through Clever using their Student ID/lunch number as their username and password. Once logged in, click the Vocabulary.com icon and choose “Start a New Vocabulary.com Account” to begin working on vocabulary practice.  A class code is not needed to access the program.
To access content on Khan Academy, you do not need to set up an account. Click the “Courses” dropdown arrow to choose course content to work on. If you would like to set up a student account, click “Sign up” in the top right and choose “Learner”. Enter your child’s birthdate and click “Sign up by choosing a username”. This button will appear after you enter your child’s birthdate. Fill in a guardian email, username, and password. Then click Sign up. Verify your child’s account through your guardian email to complete setup. A class code is not required to set up an account.
