What is Hour of Code?

The Hour of Code is a free introduction to computer science designed to show students that ANYONE can learn the basics of coding. With fun videos and activities designed for learners of all skill levels, students will use their problem solving and critical thinking skills to complete the coding activities. 

We are encouraging all students in Comal ISD to experience the Hour of Code between Dec. 4, 2023-Feb 9, 2024. Students can create their own games and stories and learn a variety of programming concepts as part of this powerful learning event.

Beginner: 

These are great options if you are just starting coding!

Intermediate:

These are great options if you know the basics of coding!

Advanced:

 These are great options if you are comfortable with coding!

Unplugged:

 These are great options to learn coding without using a device!
