Mission & Vision of Smithson Valley High School

With a focus on learning, Smithson Valley High School is committed to providing knowledge, skills, and experiences for productive and positive lives in a global community.

A Letter from Principal Michael Wahl:

My name is Michael Wahl and I am the new principal at Smithson Valley High School.  I am extremely honored to be the principal of Smithson Valley High School!  I come to Comal ISD with 23 years of educational experience at all levels: elementary, junior high and high school.  In the short time I have been here, I have already met some amazing students, parents, staff and community members.  I look forward to meeting many more as we move closer to the opening of the 2014-15 school year.

As the Principal of Smithson Valley High School, it is my sincere pleasure and honor to be entrusted with the pride and traditions of this great school.  I feel that my responsibility as the principal is to ensure that your child receives a quality education within a safe, respectful environment.  I know the faculty and staff at Smithson Valley High School share that same focus.  I am a firm believer in the home and school connection.

Smithson Valley High School enjoys a rich history of excellence that is the result of the school’s staff and parents working in partnership to provide diverse experiences for their students.  By working together, I am confident we can make our school an even better place for our students to learn and grow.

Please feel free to contact me at the school with questions or concerns, or just to introduce yourself.
