Our mission at Bill Brown Elementary School is to provide a nurturing and safe environment which inspires and empowers children to become life-long learners who embrace diversity, leadership and responsibility.

Vision Statement

Our students will become responsible leaders who embrace diversity.

A Letter From Principal Permenter:

Dear Bill Brown Families,

Welcome back to BBES! Or, if you are new to Bill Brown, as I am, then simply “Welcome.” We will learn and grow together this year.

My family and I are so pleased to be part of Comal ISD and the warm, friendly communities that comprise this school district. We especially are excited about being part of the Bill Brown family of teachers, students, parents and guardians. The BBES reputation as a place of high quality learning and teaching extends far past the boundaries of Comal ISD and I very much look forward to being a part of it.

As I get to know the faces and names that are part of the daily routine at BBES, I hope you will stop by and introduce yourself. The most successful schools and the most well-prepared students are built in partnership. In that spirit, my door is open to you always.

Very sincerely,

Sarah Permenter
