CDC is an alternative education discipline school, within Comal Leadership Institute (CLI), established by the Comal Independent School District (CISD) in compliance with state law. CDC provides a structured, alternative approach to education and is designed to help students who have school discipline problems develop appropriate school behaviors and academic techniques that lead to success in the traditional school environment.

Our Mission

The mission of Comal Discipline Center (CDC) is to help students change their behavior and increase academic/social skills so they can achieve success in the regular school setting.  CDC uses a variety of techniques including: close monitoring of behavior, intense teacher and computer assisted instruction, and personal behavior modification counseling to accomplish this mission.
