to Canyon Middle School
We are located about twenty-five miles North of San Antonio, Texas. Our student population is supplied by a number of feeder schools in the district. The students at C.M.S. believe in a strong academic and athletic foundation, so that they may be successful in all of life's endeavors. We hope that you may gain an understanding of what goes on at C.M.S. by taking a tour of our website.
Mission Statement:
The faculty and staff at Canyon Middle School believe that all students can learn and achieve mastery of basic skills, regardless of their previous academic performance, family background, socioeconomic status, race or gender. We believe that our school's purpose is to educate all students to high levels of academic performance, while fostering positive growth in social/emotional behaviors and attitudes. We accept the responsibility to teach all students so that they can attain their maximum educational potential.

The student giving the introduction at an event is a volunteering student selected on neutral criteria to introduce the event. The content of and any views expressed during the introduction is solely and entirely the private expression of the student and does not reflect the endorsement, sponsorship, position, or expression of the District.
