Hello!
I am Marisa Gonzalez and I am the registered nurse for Timberwood Park Elementary.
I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley; a really friendly place down south about 4 hours down from San Antone’.
I, too, live here in Timberwood Park and am so proud of all of our Cubs here at school; I get to see them grow and excel!
Our community is the most generous and certainly friendliest; I am so proud to be working for you at TPES.

I have been a nurse for about 12 years with many of those years dedicated to the hospital. Some of my specialties have included Labor and Delivery, Renal Med-Surg, Oncology, Surgery, Spinal Cord Injury, Home Health, Pedi OR; well, the list kind of goes on and on! School nursing is my new venture; I now have 1 school year under my belt and have NEVER been happier!

Our campus here at TPES is gorgeous. Come visit the halls and offices and see the kids’ art work! Come view the plays and music performances in the Cafeteria on stage! Come work out at the Gym’s Fun Family Fitness Night! Our teachers are fabulous and so talented and our kids benefit daily from their expertise.

I, too, teach our children age-specific concepts for health, hygiene, first aid, anatomy and physiology, and physical well-being. Throughout the year the Clinic assesses for all students:
vision and hearing screens, height/weight/BMI, acanthosis nigricans for diabetes detection and dental workshops.

I myself have 2 Cubs here at school; Maddie and Benicio. So TPES is our home away from home.
