Welcome to Canyon Middle School, home of the mighty Jaguars. The CMS staff is excited about the new school year. We are rated as an Academically Acceptable campus this year by the Texas Education Agency campus accountability system. Our new motto this year is "Class and Commitment." All of our staff members are committed to provide our students every opportunity to be successful. Along with attaining the maximum educational potential, the staff at CMS is committed to preparing our students to be successful in our ever changing society by fostering positive growth in behaviors and attitudes. We encourage all of our students to get involved in the many activities that are offered at CMS. The more involved your student becomes - the more committed she/he will be to succeed.
