Dear CLHS School Community
The months of March, April and May are a very busy time of year at Canyon Lake High School. Academically we are closing in on the final ten weeks of the year as well as the beginning of state testing and AP testing. These months are also very busy with extra curricular activities. Our students and our teachers have done an awesome job of preparing and competing in various UIL and non UIL activities. I would like to recognize the following student groups: UIL One Act Play: First Alternate District 27-3A, Band: Superior Rating UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest, Dance: "Top Officers" and "Top Technique" at the Boerne Champion Dance Competition, First Class Ballroom Dance National Champions and Emerald Dancers placed third in the National Competition, hawk Dreams Media - State Finalist The UIL Young Film-makers Festival (state awards April 16). World History UIL Academic Team: First Place at District 27 UIL meet (advance to regional meet), FFA: successful stock show season with many winners at local and state stock shows. I would also like to congratulate the CLHS Girls Soccer team making the play-offs and treating us to one of the best play-off soccer games I have seen. Congratulations to all of the students who have competed in these events and thank you for representing Canyon Lake High School so well.
