Welcome to the CHMS Clinic. I look forward to another exciting year as your school nurse. I have been a nurse for 13 years and this will be my 7th year school nursing. Prior to school nursing, I worked for a group of pediatricians and at the Children’s ER in Austin. Going even farther back in time, I was also a paramedic and worked for the City of Austin EMS. My husband, Greg, is a paramedic and works as an EMS Commander for the City of Austin. I have two children, McKenna and Reece. McKenna is in the 6th grade here at CHMS and Reece is in the 4th grade a Hoffman Lane. We also have a crazy boxer named Rose and she keeps us on our toes!!!
This year is going to present some challenges as far as keeping our kids healthy. Everyone is concerned about the “flu” and other illnesses, but if we work together by following the directives given to us by the Comal Health Department and by the Comal ISD Administration it can be another successful PANTHER year!
