Mission & Vision of Church Hill Middle School

A Letter From Principal Hammond:

CHMS Families,

Welcome to Church Hill Middle School’s website! We are glad you found us. I am privileged to begin my fourth year as the Principal of this great school, where building relationships with our students and community are keys to our school’s success.

Church Hill Middle School is known, among other things, for having high expectations of our students both academically and behaviorally. We have an eclectic mix of veteran and beginning staff that is both instructionally sound, and extremely excited about getting to know you and your student. CHMS has tremendous extracurricular programs such as band, athletics, choir, cheer, dance and theater to name a few. Academically, Church Hill students continue to score above the state and district average on STAAR and EOC standardized testing. Finally, we feel that our relationship with our PTA is without equal. Our parents are welcome in the building and are always willing to give of their time and money whenever there is a need.

Thanks for visiting our page. If you would like to know more about us, feel free to contact us or come by and see us. We will be glad to visit with you whether you have a current student or a potential student.

Sincerely,

Scott Hammond
CHMS Principal
