Mission & Vision of AC - Memorial ECHS

The mission of AC- Memorial Early College High School is to inspire, empower, and motivate each student to graduate from college or earn a marketable skills certificate in their area of study. Our students will be immersed in a college culture where they can earn a High School Distinguished Achievement Program Diploma as well as up to sixty hours of college credit towards an associate’s degree and/or baccalaureate degree at no cost to the parent or student.

VISION: The AC-Memorial Early College High School vision is the vision of the Comal Independent School District….to improve the lives of students by providing extensive learning opportunities.

A Letter From Principal Carlin:

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year at Alamo Colleges-Memorial Early College High School. I am excited to work collaboratively with you as we “soar to new heights of excellence”.

This school year will be an inspiring one for the community of AC-MECHS. Both our 11th grade and 12th grade students will be taking coursework at St. Philip’s College. Our staff will be working with students and their families to create a culture of academics and preparing the students for post-secondary course work. We will focus the school year on equipping students with the academic and marketable skills they need to be successful in their future. The 2013-2014 school year will also be a year of celebrations as we graduate our first senior class.

We welcome and encourage parents and guardians to be a part of your student’s academic experience at AC-MECHS. Should you have questions regarding your student’s course work or would like to volunteer please call the front office or stop by our campus.

I look forward to meeting each of you and working together towards the success of our students.
