Mission & Vision of Memorial ECHS The mission of Memorial Early College High School is to inspire, empower, and motivate each student to graduate from college or earn a marketable skills certificate in their area of study. Our students will be immersed in a college culture where they can earn a High School Distinguished Achievement Program Diploma as well as up to sixty hours of college credit towards an associate’s degree and/or baccalaureate degree at no cost to the parent or student.

VISION: The Memorial Early College High School vision is the vision of the Comal Independent School improve the lives of students by providing extensive learning opportunities.

A Letter From Principal Carlin:

I hope everyone had a wonderful break. Classes on campus are in full swing and online dual credit courses will begin on January 20. Our students have returned from break enthusiastic and ready to learn. This semester 11th and 12th grade students will travel to St. Philip’s College to utilize the facilities.

We continue our work to help students become college and career ready. We are scheduling college field trips and have admissions counselors from various universities coming to visit with students during advisory class. MECHS will be hosting a financial aid night for 12th graders on January 21 and a FAFSA night February 19th. Please make plans to attend these nights with your 12th grade student.

We will begin the application process for the 2015-2016 school year in February. Look for an update coming soon, which will include parent nights, tour dates, and other important dates for the application process.

As always, we welcome and encourage parents and guardians to be a part of your student’s academic experience at MECHS. Should you have questions regarding your student’s course work or would like to volunteer, please call the front office or stop by our campus.
