0004	11/21/2007	(29MB)	Presentation on Comal ISD's Move from Block Scheduling to 7-Period Schedule at CHS and SVHS in 2008-2009	Dr. Jodi Duron, executive director for Secondary Education, presented the process and reasons why the district is moving to a 7-period schedule at Canyon and Smithson Valley high schools in 2008-09. Two public meetings were held at the high schools in mid-December. This podcast features her presentation at Canyon High. 0003	11/19/2007		CISD School Names Sought and December Boundary Meetings	Deadline to submit names for two elementary schools opening in 2009 is Nov. 30. Information and forms are on our website. In addition, two informational boundary meetings to talk about school attendance zones changing in 2008 and 2009 are Dec. 4 and 5.

0001	10/17/2007		Comal ISD 2007 New School Dedications	Three new schools opened this school year and all three are being dedicated this fall. One dedication, at Freiheit Elementary, was held on Oct. 13. Canyon Lake High School’s dedication is Oct. 20 and Startzville Elementary will host its special event on Nov. 4. The public is invited!
