Energy Management
The department manages the district’s multimillion dollar budget for electricity, natural gas, propane, water, sewer, and waste water. Comal ISD is in compliance with HB 3693. Required postings are available online. Routine energy audits are provided to local campuses to help achieve maximum efficiency with operation of facilities. Energy Efficiency Guidelines are provided to assist in this effort.
Scheduling of climate control equipment is provided through the office of the Facility Manager. Local campuses may request amended schedules through the online work request system.
