To participate in the showcase, teachers must submit an application through Eduphoria. (link for instructions). The deadline for submission is March 11th, 2011.

Those selected to participate in the showcase will be notified by March 25th, 2011.

Description of Sessions:

• Project Display-Showcase student technology projects without the formal presentation of a breakout session. Student work will be on static display for continual viewing throughout the showcase. Teachers and students will be available to answer questions about their project.
  
  
• 15-30 Minute Workshop-During this breakout session, students will demonstrate a technology rich lesson or activity. Some examples are:
  • Students demonstrating how they have used iMovie to create documentaries about famous explorers.
  • Students using temperature probes to support science inquiry.
    
    
• 30-45 Minute Workshop-This is the same as the 15 minute workshop but will go into more depth.
  

Other Information:

• All teachers and students that participate will receive a T-shirt.
• Refreshments will be served.
