| Comal Independent School District's Safe Schools/ Healthy Students Keystone Program was funded in September 2007, and is responding to the needs of our community by implementing a comprehensive, integrated, community-wide program for students, parents, and educators, aimed at promoting school safety and healthy youth development. |

Increase school-community partnerships and engender an increasingly positive relationship between schools and their communities |

Provide increasing levels of both school based and community based mental healthy preventative and treatment intervention services to students throughout the district |

Increase services that address early childhood emotional and social development and that focus on greater family functioning and parenting confidence |

Provide coordinated case-management services for students and their families who are involved with the Keystone Program |
