| The goal of the Elementary Education department is to improve the quality of education for all students by providing curriculum and instruction support in the implementation of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in grades K-5 and the PreK curriculum guidelines. In collaboration with the other departments, we work to ensure academic success of all students through the use of benchmarks, Curriculum Based Assessments, alignment of instructional content and assessing data. We are committed to providing research-based, student-centered instructional programs that will prepare and inspire all students to continue their education beyond high school graduation. |
