Who can sign up for classes?
For Adult Classes: We are proud to welcome and admit students at least 16 years of age in most classes. Students under 16 will be permitted to register only with prior consent of the Instructor and Project Manager and may have an adult sign up with them. You do not have to be a resident of Comal School District to take any of our classes.
For Children's Classes: We ask that you adhere to the age requirements listed in the course description. We do not allow children to accompany adults to class, nor do we provide child care.

When can I sign up?
If space is still available in a class, registrations are taken until the first day of the class. However, we encourage you to sign up early, some classes fill up early or that a class may not be cancelled due to lack of registration.

When is your registration office open?
The Community Education office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

How do I register if I do not have an email address?
If you do not have an email address, please call Charlotte Muñiz at 830-221-2177 and she will get you registered.

How do I register for an on-line course?
On-line courses are offered in partnership with Ed2go. You may register for online classes via the online registration system on our website. www.ed2go.com/comalisd

Will I receive a reminder notification about my upcoming classes?
You will not. It is your responsibility to remember the date and time of your class. There are no refunds for 'no-shows.'

Specifically, where do classes meet?
Classes meet in various campuses and private businesses throughout Comal ISD.

What happens in case of inclement weather?
Please view the information on the CISD website: www.comalisd.org. Community Education will not have classes if the schools are closed. We will reschedule such classes and the instructor will confirm with you the makeup date.

Are adult students allowed to smoke on Comal ISD campuses?
Comal ISD is a smoke-free organization. Use of tobacco and smoking are prohibited on all Comal ISD property including outside as well as inside our buildings.

What is the refund policy?
If Community Education cancels a class you will receive a full refund, or you may request to transfer to a different class. No refunds will be made after the class has begun since funds have been committed to conduct the class. If you much cancel a class, or transfer to another, you must call us 2(two) working days before the class begins. A $5.00 processing fee will be assigned to any transfers or cancellations initiated by the student.
