Meal choices

A full lunch meal includes 1 entree (meat or meat substitute), 1 bread/grain, milk and any combination of 2 different vegetable & fruit choices. Milk is the only beverage allowable with a "full meal". Meal pricing is based on the choice of any 3 to 5 of the offered items; choose as little as 3 and still get the benefit of the full meal pricing.  Less than 3 or choosing more than 5 will result in a la carte pricing which could be more than a full meal. Beverages other than milk, if offered, are also subject to a la carte pricing.

Meal Payment Options

All students in the Comal ISD system will be assigned an individual meal account and will receive a personal keypad number. Payments can be made to the account utilizing our online web pay at www.paypams.com using your credit or debit card. Checks and cash are gladly received; to insure proper credit to your student's account, please place checks and cash in a sealed envelope marked with your student's name; on the check please write your students first and last name and their lunch account number. Prepayments made at the school need to be placed in the cafeteria payment box before 9:30 am, any payments placed after that time will not be applied to the account until the following day.

If you would like to pay a month or a semester ahead for your student(s), please review the link to the Long Term Pricing (Spanish) schedule.

CISD Child Nutrition department accepts checks for the amount of the meal purchased or for any prepayment amount to be applied to your student's meal account for their use only. When you provide a check payment, you authorize us to either use the information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. When we use information from your check to make a electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account on the same day we receive your payment; you will not receive your check back from your financial institution. If you prefer not to have your check converted, you may opt out by calling Kathy Hanlon at 830-221-2000.
