Major Programs and Initiatives: |
We are a K-4 elementary campus located in Lookout Canyon. Special education programs offered consist of inclusion, content mastery and resource classes. In addition, gifted and talented students are serviced at every grade level. A Communities In Schools social worker is also housed on our campus to help families and students in need. One reading and one math specialist are at Specht to work with students that are identified as needing assistance in those academic areas. Due to rapid growth all pre-kinder students, students with severe needs, and bilingual students have been relocated to Rahe Bulverde Elementary or Bill Brown Elementary. Our PTA is very active and involved. We encourage school volunteers. If have have any questions about the programs at Specht, please give us a call. |
