Major Programs and Initiatives:
“Comalville – A Community Built for Learning”

Welcome to Comalville! Our own little town where every morning, students are greeted by the Safety Patrol, as the Flag Patrol raise the Colors. Student broadcasters give “up-to-date announcements, news, weather and sports” on KCES, our school TV/Radio station. In our library, the heart of our school, Library Lifesavers help shelve books. Recycling Rangers gather used paper products that are ready to be recycled.

Our positive discipline plan includes “good visits” to the principal’s office, Bobcat Brags, and Bobcat Bucks. Communication with parents is facilitated by the use of the Planner or Awareness folders at each grade level.

Reading Renaissance fosters a love for reading as students choose books they want to read and take a test on.
Our Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), Pre-1st, Resource, Content Mastery, Inclusion, Title 1, Resource, Life Skills, Bilingual, Enrichment, SAGE (G/T), Counseling, and Communities-in-Schools programs exemplify the care and love that exists at our campus.

Our mentoring programs, One-to-One, Bobcat Buddies, and RSVP tutors, combined with our outstanding PTO, ensure that all students are successful.

At Comal, every child is a valued community member and independent thinker— A positive, successful experience is inevitable
