Mission Statement:
The mission of Comal ISD, as the foundation of public education, is to provide extensive learning opportunities through the commitment of a broad range of district wide resources to ensure that all students of our diverse communities have the opportunity to become contributing members of our changing society.

Goals:
Goal 1- District wide systems will provide the necessary components for an effective, efficient organization.

Goal 2- An equitable student centered educational process will include an aligned curriculum with valid assessments and proven instructional practices that allows every student to reach his/ her highest level of achievement.

Goal 3- Planning and management will ensure cost-effective facilities growth and maintenance.

Goal 4- Long and short term planning will focus fiscal responsibility on all areas of district operations (including asset/at-risk management, purchasing and distribution, food service and transportation).

Goal 5 -Technology advancements will result in student and staff acquisition of skills and competencies necessary for success in the 21 st century.

Goal 6 – District planning and implementation will focus on hiring, training, and retention of quality personnel to meet the needs of a dynamic district.

Goal 7 – District wide systems will provide a safe, secure and positive environment in which all students and staff focus on learning.

Goal 8 -CISD actively promotes partnerships for excellence in all schools and establishes a district-wide community of learners that includes all parents, businesses and other relevant parties.
